Sample work English K–10 Stage 2: Activity 2 – Imaginative Text Narrative
Description of activity
Students plan, draft and write an imaginative text using visual stimulus as a starting point. They use one or more images from the visual stimulus sheet.
Context
Students have been immersed in a wide range of literary texts to develop an understanding of text structure and the effective use of language to engage the reader. They have compared the written techniques of a number of authors and discussed the intended messages.
