Principals and service directors

The content on this page has moved to a new location.

Why has it moved?

We are migrating our website content to a new location on the NSW Government website so it's easier for you to find and read content.

All teacher accreditation information is now available at nsw.gov.au/NESA.

From 20 March, this page will no longer exist, and you will be automatically redirected to the NSW Government website.

Principals and service directors play an important role in the accreditation process by supporting teachers and Accreditation Supervisors to meet NESA’s requirements for accreditation.

Streamlining Elective PD

NESA has made it easier for teachers to record Elective PD. Teachers now have the flexibility to record their Elective PD at any time and in any manner that suits them.

Only essential information needs to be captured, including the duration and date of completion. An optional Elective PD log template (PDF 2.17MB) is available for teachers.

Pre-decision audits

Principals and service directors play a vital role in supporting our pre-decision audits of Proficient Teacher applications.
