- demonstrate a perceptive analysis of the techniques used by the director to portray the profound changes in Lao Ye’s life (Q1 (c))
- demonstrate the ability to analyse the complexities of the interpersonal relationships (Q1 (d)).

- demonstrate a perceptive understanding of the internal feeling of Lao Ye and her devastation as a result of the con
- produce a letter from the perspective of Lao Ye reflecting on the disappointment of her personal life
