Students write a response to an artwork they have discussed in detail in class with a focus on persuasion. They draft and edit their work thoroughly to produce a published text.
Students have been studying artworks in Creative Arts. As a class they have discussed the compositions, symbolism and interpretation of various artworks. Students have analysed the persuasive techniques used to express an opinion in a number of reviews of artworks. They have jointly and independently constructed persuasive texts to express their opinions of artworks.
