Examiner vacancies

The AMEB (NSW) is calling for expressions of interest from qualified teachers and practitioners in the following categories: All Stringed instruments (including Harp and Classical Guitar), all Brass, Percussion, Organ, Accordion, Speech and Drama.

Applicants must have relevant professional qualifications, excellent interpersonal and report writing skills and be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the AMEB repertoire, syllabus requirements and regulations.

All new AMEB (NSW) examiners must have a current Working with Children Check.

We maintain a register of writers and reviewers, to assist with the syllabus development processes in NSW. People with expertise in writing and reviewing syllabuses, support documents, work samples or teaching units are invited to express their interest in being included on the register.

The NESA Statement of Equity Principles and related guiding statements inform project and writing teams of syllabuses, support documents, examinations, assessment guidelines and other relevant educational materials produced by the NESA.
