Tickets on sale for Sydney Writers’ Festival Student Sessions 2017

The Sydney Writers’ Festival and NESA will partner for the second year to present a day of events for students in Years 9 to 12 in May. Student Sessions 2017 will be held at Walsh Bay and Parramatta, and feature some of the festival’s most exciting writers from Australia and overseas. The event is intended to introduce students to the world of ideas outside the classroom. This year’s sessions feature: internationally renowned Shakespeare expert James Shapiro; scientist, conservationist and former Australian of the Year Tim Flannery; and discussions on economics, cultural identity, and Ancient History.

The sessions will be held on the following dates:

  • Monday 22 May, 10am–2pm – Roslyn Packer Theatre, Walsh Bay
  • Thursday 25 May, 10am–2pm – Riverside Theatres, Parramatta

Tickets are now on sale. Early bookings are encouraged to avoid disappointment.
